You can find out about all things Will Eisner at willeisner.com, the official website for the late master of the comics medium. Will was Batton's teacher at the School of Visual Arts, and Jackie is administrator of the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards, so they are delighted that all things Eisner can be found at this site, including a gallery of Will's work and updates on "The Spirit" movie.

Mark Evanier's 'Point of View'

Batton always likes to start his day by reading Mark Evanier's "News from ME" on the witty writer's website, Point of View.

Mr. Monster's pappy has a spiffy website all his own: michaeltgilbert.com is your one-stop destination for all things by and about writer/artist/comics historian Michael T. Gilbert!

Batton and Jackie are huge supporters of first amendment rights and are members of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, which helps fund cases in which the First Amendment rights of comics retailers and creators have been violated. The CBLDF site has just added a lively message board.

The Horror of It All: Karswell's terrific blog is "A Celebration and Appreciation of '50s Pre-Code Comic Book Horror & More!" Go to it for great horror comics (most unseen for decades), news, and esoteric items about Batton's favorite era of horror!

Lee Hester, of Lee's Comics (in Mountain View and San Mateo, CA), is one of the snappiest dressers you'll find among comics retailers. We highly recommend his entertaining blog, "Let's Level with Lee," where he talks about all sorts of topics in addition to comics.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Chuck McCann! A website devoted to the great Chuck McCann, entertainer . . . and it's about time! Batton recalls Chuck's New York kid shows during the 1960s with great fondness!

Jim Pascoe: Musings from the writer of ToykoPop's Undertown and many other works. Pascoe is also the inspiration for Mavis's erstwhile boyfriend, Toby Bascoe, so you could imagine what to expect!

"Mary Perkins: On Stage" returns! The classic newspaper strips are being reprinted by Classic Comics Press.

Daniel Davis brings you Monster Art Haiku! You have to see it to believe it! And don't miss Daniel's delightfully weird webcomic Caught Creatures.

Bill Martinez is a cartoonist, teacher, and publisher of Neko Press. He's the creator of "Kick Ass Girl" and a regular contributor to Heavy Metal magazine. His cool pinup of Mavis was featured in Exhibit A's Mavis #3. Be sure to check out all the cool stuff at the Neko Press site.

Artist Scott Bieser, along with creators Mike Baron, Andie Tong, L. Neil Smith, and Gabe Eltaeb have banded together for an exciting new anthology of provocative comics strictly for the web! Check them out at Big Head Press--it's all good!

Ronn Sutton has been a comics professional for over 25 years, most recently as a regular artist on Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, for Claypool. Check out his versatile work at his site.

Craig Boldman, one of the mainstay writers for Archie Comics these days, has started a new weekly online strip, Tailipoe, which he writes and draws.

Want to visit the Vampire Bed and Breakfast? Sure you do. Discover the witty strips that cartoonist Elena Steier has to offer.

You'll find tons of interesting info and cool stuff at cartoonist Fred Hembeck's website. Batton enjoys Fred's blog entries on everything from comics to the Beatles to his everyday life.

Anne Timmons, artist on Go Girl! and whose charming pinup appeared in Mavis #4, has revamped her website.

Ron Kasman, whose pinup appears in Supernatural Law #38, has had a fascinating career, which you can read about at TheFaceofComedy.com.

The wonderful world of legendary cartoonist Sergio Aragonés can be found at www.sergioaragones.com. Sergio contributed a pinup to Supernatural Law #36.

Frank Cho, special guest artist for Supernatural Law #37, is best known for his comic strip Liberty Meadows, now a comic book from Image. His upcoming projects include a Shana the She-Devil miniseries for Marvel.

Monte Wolverton, whose work is featured in Supernatural Law #37, is the son of the late Basil Wolverton, known for his distinctive art style. Monte has carried on his father's tradition, as can be seen on his website.
