Cartoon Art Museum
San Francisco, CA, February 2006
Batton and the great Gahan Wilson attempted to act out the title of
the exhibit their work is appearing in at the Cartoon Art Museum.
Batton and Jackie were thrilled to see pages from Wolff & Byrd, Counselors of
the Macabre #16 on the wall of the museum. It turns out that Batton's "Sodd, the
Thing Called It," wasn't the only swamp-type monster in the exhibit, which also
included pages from Swamp Thing and Man-Thing (see pic at top).
Kayre Morrison checked out Sodd, while
her husband, Bill, hammed it up next to his "Treehouse of Horror"
painting.
Gahan Wilson explained the finer points of his ghoulish cartoons to an attentive Batton.
