SPX/The Expo 2002 Part 2
One of the great things about SPX is seeing adults of both genders reading comics in public.
DC Comics Group Editor Bob Schreck was spotted doing portfolio reviews.

Among the hundreds of cartoonists at exhibitor booths were:
Alex Robinson (Box Office Poison) and Tony Consiglio (Doublecross) in the Top Shelf area.

At right, Rich Koslowski with his new graphic novel, Three Fingers, also at Top Shelf.
James Kochalka, with lots of books at Top Shelf and other publishers.
Eddie Campbell with his latest collection, Egomania—yes, at Top Shelf.
Roger Langridge, British cartoonist of Fred the Clown.
Rafael Navarro, writer/artist of Sonambulo.
Bryan Talbot (writer/artist of Tale of One Bad Rat and Heart of Empire) was a special guest at SPX.
Party People
The folks who create and publish the new title 23 Skidoo.
International Comic Arts Festival honcho Ana Merino with Jessica (La Perdida) Abel.
Veteran publisher (and CBLDF head) Denis Kitchen with Eddie Campbell and SPX organizer (and Sequential Tart features editor) Karon Flage.
Patrick Jodoin, representative for Quebecor (Canadian printer and SPX sponsor), and famed animator/cartoonist Bill Plympton.
At left, the scene at the bar, with cartoonist Ellen Lindner in the middle of it all!
